Or is it them? Yesterday Alberto Gonzalez (in his un-sworn-in testimony), stated that he used the examples of previous presidents such as Washington, Lincoln, etc. as authorizing electronic surveillance.

Today at the library a student ID card was turned in. The name on the card was MAXXWELL HOUSE. I kid you not. Were the parents high when they named their kid? Were they totally consumed with love for instant coffee? Did they think that if they added that extra X nobody would notice?
I give them the benefit of the doubt – Maxxwell must be a family name.

A sunny day found Nono and I traipsing around the cemetary to take a few photos and get some fresh air. It was a short trip due to the cold, but I’ll be going back to get more photos. Lots of unexplored corners and neat statues to find.
I love this photo – it was such a fluke that it turned out this way. I didn’t look while I took it, just held the camera down low.
