The color gradations are just amazing!!! And to think that this plant is considered to be a pest. Scotch broom – it’s caused me plenty of allergy grief in the past. But not today. I’m pleased to have seen the beauty up close.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!
I spent the afternoon out taking photos. It was sunny, but sometimes that makes for photos that are a bit glarey. Oh well, they still turned out good. And it was delightful to get out and about in the fresh air! By the end of it, the wind was blowing quite hard and now I have that “spent the afternoon in the wind” feel.
Not much on the agenda tonight – hiding out at home from all the crazy party-goers. It could only spell disaster that Cinco de Mayo falls on a Friday. Yikes – bolt the doors!!!
Cheers!

So, you think going on the ride will be fun? Good luck getting past all the restrictions. They've managed to eliminate most everybody, I think.

Little pink flowers – from a bug's eye view, originally uploaded by Librarianguish.
I like to look at things from the ground. I'm not sure why, but I do. I guess I like the perspective, and the reminder that there's an entire world beneath our feet, if only we stop to notice it.
Peace, blessings, and Happy Easter!
